Seche Vite Review

I have found the holy grail of nail products. The crème de la crème, best-thing-I've-ever-bought nail product. Seche Vite Top Coat. This stuff is AMAZING! I first heard about it while watching nail tutorials on Youtube, and after seeing so many people using it I had to check it out. I always have an issue with my nails taking *forever* to dry (thus resulting in ugly little smudges and fingerprints all over my nails), and then the polish will start chipping and cracking after only 1 day. It got to the point where I didn't even want to bother with painting my nails because they never looked good and the polish would only last a day or two, at best. But not anymore! Seche Vite completely dries my nails in just a couple minutes and after a whole week my nails haven't chipped at all. Hallelujah!
You can get Seche Vite at a lot of stores online, but I've found that Amazon has it for a great price (drugstore.com has it for $10, and you can get it on Amazon for around $4-$5).
Seche Vite has been added to my "must have" list of beauty products. If you try it (or have tried it before), let me know what you think! Today is my weekly at-home manicure day, so I'll definitely be using some today. Now the only question is.....purple nails or glitter nails? xo, mandy Pin It

  2. I went on Amazon and ordered it right away! You said the magic words "it lasted 1 week" WHAAAAT? That's unheard of. Thanks for the recommendation girl :) I'm a nail fanatic and love painting my nails but ya, it gets to the point where you're thinking "What's the point?"

  3. Shoot...I take that back, I was on the Amazon.com so when I went to place my order, it said I couldn't as I'm Canadian (thought I went to Amazon.ca) and on the Canadian one it's $20!! I'm going to try Ebay!

  6. My favorite top coat is Sally Hansen's insta-dri anti-chip top coat. it dries in less then a minute and you can find it in most drug store for a dollar cheaper then the Seche Vite one.

  7. Seche Vite is seriously the best nail product around. I refer to it as a layer of plastic coating over your nail color. I love it!

  8. Oh my. I found this top coat a few months ago. I've been looking for it forever! (basically because of the same reasons as you said...) And I have been usiing it non-stop too. I love it. It's probably the BEST top coat ever. I love how fast it dries. I was even thinking of doing a little review of it too! :]

  11. I use this! My mom got it for me, along with the base coat. I think the base coat makes it peel off a little quicker (and in big pieces), but I do like the top coat. :)

  14. I love this stuff! But mine never dries as fast as I thought it would. It seems to take forever to dry, but man, it makes my polish LAST. I love that so much! I never used to use a top coat and then I heard about this online and bam, I love it! You can get this at Sally's, too! Their price isn't too bad.

  15. When I first tried this stuff I thought it was amazing. But,even though it dried extremely fast it never seemed to stop my nails from chipping. Since then I have tried many top coats, to date my two favorite's are Sally Hansen Insta-Dri-Anti-Chip topcoat, as well as Revlon's quick dry top coat. For me personally they worked out better (and are cheaper, and i'm cheap!);)

  16. Seche Vite is a great product....also try the Mega Shine by Sally Hansen. It dries in 60 secs and through all layers of polish. Totally comparable to Seche and around the same price. Give it a try and let me know whatcha think♥

  17. ugh! this frustrates the life out of me! I have an allergy to some of the chemicals in nail polish (including clears) so I can't paint my nails :( Hope your manicure turns out great!

Oh, and my vote is for glitter nails

    1. I went with the glitter! :] Oh, and have you tried the nail decals? (I think Sally Hansen is the brand). Kaylah from The Dainty Squid uses them a lot and they're so cute, maybe they would work better for your allergies.

  18. I used to abstain from using nail products after it took me 3 HOURS to apply it perfectly, re-do and touch it up again...but I may break that for this product.

  19. I never paint my nails if I don't have SV. It's like eating bread without butter :)

  20. Buying this!! Just what I needed, I've mostly given doing my nails unless I'm going out up cos I'm tired of the chipping. Thanks!

  21. I love Seche Vite. I ordered the huge bottle on Ebay and I just keep refilling the little bottle. If you go that route, you would need the Seche refresher too so you can thin it when it gets too gloppy. I think I paid $12 for the big bottle. Check it out! :)

  22. I may have to try this, I sat for an hour waiting for my nails to dry yesterday [just to be on the safe side] and today...they are smudged beyond belief...oye!
